The Series exists to give women cyclists a chance to try racing, to challenge themselves in a competitive but supportive athletic environment. It is run entirely by volunteers, most of them racers
themselves, and is produced by and for the riders. If you'd like to be involved, contact us! We're always looking for new energy.
The Northwest Women's Race Series is part of an effort to develop regional bike racing opportunities for women nationwide. In all, there are seven regional women's race series held throughout the
U.S. All focus on getting more women involved in the sport, and all have had surprisingly strong participation, almost from the first day. In addition to the series and race-day clinics, NWWC offers
weekly women's rides on Monday nights in the summer and Saturday mornings in the fall and winter. You can check the Rides page for details. NWWC also puts on spring and fall race skills clinics.
Watch for more information to show up on the Clinics page.
Most of all, thanks for your support and thanks for racing!
Dont forget to contact Nancy Delanoy with Cat 4 points for all races outside the series calender, or Lise Grace for Cat 3 points.
